Once again Inteligensa surprises the world of payment instruments by providing contactless cards for ECOBICI bicycle rental.

ECOBICI is a transport system based on public shared bicycles of Mexico City, which complement the massive transport net of that city. It serves currently to more than 100.000 users, Monday to Sunday.

Thanks to the supply of these innovative payment devices by Inteligensa, the ECOBICI users can easily access the system. Once the users get the payment card, they can take the bike in the respective station and platform, by simply passing it in front of the payment reader. After the ride, the user leaves the bike at the nearest station of his/her convenience and passes the card again by the reader, which will indicate “bicycle returned correctly”.
