The Dual Interface Chip Card will be the star product that Inteligensa will present at Cartes Paris this year, a global exhibition that is celebrated in Paris between 4 and 6 November. It´s a bank card that combines two technologies, contact and contactless, in addition to an antenna, which implies the great advantage of having many functions in one card, thus guaranteeing to the users security, comfort and rapidity when making their payments, simply by approach the card to a POS equipped with a contactless payment reader.
Venanzio Cipollitti, President of Inteligensa, explained that the company has already participated in this exhibition in the past showing different products of its portfolio of payment systems. This year, in addition to the Dual Interface Chip Card, Inteligensa will show some others payment cards such as smart cards, those containing chips, which can be used as bank cards, health cards, identification cards and commercial cards.
Cipollitti also stressed that Inteligensa produces cards to attend many people´s needs due to its extensive production capacity and the high quality of its products. Inteligensa participates in Cartes along with one of its cards plants, IntelCav, which is one the Top Ten world producers of cards, according to the Nilson Report publication, and produces 16 millions of cards monthly.
Alvaro de Oliveira, President of IntelCav, noted that few months ago this company was certified by Visa in order to produce the Dual Interface cards, which makes IntelCav the first Latin American company certified to elaborate that product at the local level, and which means an important support and recognition to the work of IntelCav.
Cartes Paris is a prestigious global exhibition in the area of payment systems and identification, in which participate the most important companies and experts of that area. Inteligensa has participated in more than five occasions, doing it consecutively in the last three years.
