According to the latest report of the prestigious specialized publication, Nilson Report (Sept. 2015), IntelCav, a manufacturing plant of the Inteligensa Group, is the 7th manufacturer of chip cards worldwide, having produced 60 Million chip cards in 2014.
Likewise, the leadership of IntelCav as one of the top manufacturers of payment cards worldwide is confirmed, keeping the company its 9th position in the 2014 ranking, with a total of 105 Million payment cards, out of which 45 Million are magnetic stripe.
For several years IntelCav has been recognized as one of the largest smart card producers and personalizers in the world. IntelCav has been a pioneer in the production of chip cards in Latin America since 2003. Thanks to the quality and the level of its production, IntelCav keeps its prevalence in the payment cards market in Brazil and Latin America, being the biggest supplier of Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards in Brazil and it is also a provider of technology for the bank, transport, telecom, authentication and identification sectors.
IntelCav, with three facilities in Brazil, is one of the manufacturing plants of the Inteligensa Group and was founded by Venanzio Cipollitti, President of that Group.
