Inteligensa starts up a new remote personalization platform in Mexico

Inteligensa Mexico has 22 years bringing innovations to the important Mexican industry of payments, with high quality credit and debit cards.

Having been a pioneer in the migration of magnetic stripe cards to EMV chip for more than ten years in all Latin America and particularly in Mexico, Inteligensa announces the start up of its Remote Personalization Platform for Chip Cards from its Card Personalization Center (CPC), located in Mexico City, thus enabling banks to have autonomy for the electronic codification of their chip cards and offering a more efficient service, with no waiting times for their customers and without making huge investments in sophisticated equipment, which are typical of a CPC.

Thanks to this solution, developed by the Mexican staff of Inteligensa Mexico and with a substantial investment in technology, now the Mexican and Central American banks will have available small machines, connected to the Inteligensa Mexico Center, to personalize their chip cards remotely. This Center has a personalization capacity of 3 million cards monthly.

Luis Antonio Vargas, Director of Technological Solutions, and Francisco Goñi, Director of Cards and Personalization of Inteligensa Mexico, highlighted that the Personalization Center meets the PCI security standards and has been certified by Visa, MasterCard and Carnet. Likewise, they invited all the Mexican and Central American banks to become users of this novel solution for the remote personalization of their cards, having confidence on the high quality and security of the service that always this Center has provided, which is one of the most modern of Latin America

The chip card has been the great solution to stop the cloning fraud that has caused many losses to credit and debit card users and to the banks.
